About Me
Hello! My name is Genelyn Longenecker, and I am a PreK Intervention Specialist with Cleveland Metropolitan School District. I work with young children with disabilities by providing individualized instruction, implementing evidence-based practices, collaborating with families, and supporting communication, behavior, and early learning development.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Ashland University with licensure in Primary Education (PK–5) and Intervention Specialist (PK–5). I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Autism at the University of Kansas to expand my knowledge of autism assessment, intervention, and educational programming.
My professional interests include autism assessment, early intervention, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), inclusive education, executive functioning, and evidence-based instructional practices.
